WHAT I DO:

I help churches and organizations cultivate small group environments where people belong to one another, encounter God, and are spiritually formed through clear systems, intentional vision, and rooted, vibrant content.

HOW I WORK:

Engage in one of three ways—whether through immersive cohorts, workshops, or ongoing development support. Each can stand alone or build on the others.

  • 6-week guided cohort where leaders learn to lead groups by participating in one together

    Small group pastors/teams alongside new or developing group leaders who are:

    • Leadership intake (2 hrs total)

    • 6 weeks of live group experience (~9 hrs)

    • Vision casting & alignment

    • Developing a unified discipleship ecosystem

    • Establishing new training and equipping pathways

    Includes:

    • Leadership intake (2 hrs total)

    • 6–9 hrs training (weekend or multi-session modules)

Dan Kidd

For more than a decade, I’ve helped churches cultivate small group ministries that foster belonging, spiritual maturity, and life together with Jesus. Across denominations and ministry contexts, I’ve led, developed, and trained leaders to form communities marked by depth, honesty, and attentiveness to God’s presence.

Table & Thread grew from a conviction that discipleship doesn’t happen by accident nor in solitude. It is cultivated through careful leadership, intentional practices, and a shared commitment to belong to Christ and to one another.

I hold a Master of Divinity from Ashland Theological Seminary and live in Westerville, Ohio with my wife and two sons.
